Machining

A wide range of CNC and conventional machines are available with modern programming facilities. Facilities cover an area of approx. 5,000 square feet.

Foundry

Investment Castings:

Facilities covering an area of approx. 5000 sq. ft. are available for the manufacture of Investment Castings. Castings can be supplied in their basic form, or as fully-machined, inclusive of finishing to customer specifications.

Sand Castings: Facilities covering approx. 6000 sq. ft. are dedicated to precision sand, shell and gravity die casting in non-ferrous materials. Extensive use is made of chemical analysis, crack detection and inspection equipment to ensure component quality. Comprehensive heat treatment facilities are also available on site.

Inspection

Facilities cover an area of approx. 500 sq. ft. and are supported by a comprehensive range of inspection equipment. All projects undertaken are subject to strict Quality Procedures.

Established over thirty years ago, EDL are precision engineers involved in the casting of non-ferrous materials and the machining and assembly of components for aerospace, defence and commercial applications.
