CNC Turning

EDL undertake precision CNC turning to print or from solid models including castings turning. With a large diameter capacity upto 650mm and 2m between centers we have the capacity to turn large and heavy components.

Much of our work comes directly from our foundry and we are experts at setting datums and producing balanced castings suitable high precision applications such as turbines, generators and aerospace projects.

Precision

EDL specialist in high quality precision components for a wide range of parts including bearing recieving internal and external bores, mating surfaces and balanced rotary parts. Combined with X-ray inspection, NDT and flaw detection for castings and a dedicated CMM inspection facility EDL can produce parts for the most demanding of industries including aerospace and submarines.
