Tooling
High quality work requires high quality tooling. Our skilled engineers take pride in their ability to work material to best effect. This requires an understanding of feed rates, cutting speeds and temperatures, cutting fluids and fixtures. But it also requires the right tooling. We maintain a large tool library with regular inspection and maintenance schedules in place, consisting of both standard and specialist items.

Specialist Tooling
We are often required to work with specialist materials such as Inconel or Titanium for which we would require to pay particular attention to the tooling requirements. For this we use a number of tooling companies, including Walter. The sequence below shows the automated process for selecting a specialist tool for aluminium.
